Mounted and In-Hand Lessons for People with Diverse Abilities
Provide safe opportunities for people with diverse abilities to experience a partnership with horses. Through encouragement, learning, and acceptance of themselves, participants increase their confidence, improve their body and mind performance, and reach beyond their current limitations. We introduce tools and inspiration to improve function in daily lives, including increased strength, balance, cognitive ability, social skills, and self-regulation.

Youth Riding Program
The Youth Riding Program for riders with diverse abilities is a 6- or 8-week session of 1.5-2 hours, 1 day a week, exposing riders to cognitive, behavioural, and physical development, as well as horsemanship and riding skills—maximum 2 riders per class.
Riders will develop tools for self-regulation, learn patience, gain confidence and self-esteem, and improve interpersonal and social skills. All of this while learning to ride and building a healthy relationship with their equine partners.

Adult Riding Program
The Adult Riding Program for riders with diverse abilities is a 6- or 8-week session of 2 hours, 1 day a week, exposing riders to cognitive, behavioural, and physical development, as well as horsemanship and riding skills.
The intent is to develop social skills for responsibility and ownership of personal circumstances through adaptability/resiliency exercises/experiences, helpful in adapting to ‘real world’ situations through interaction with the horses.

Horsemanship Program (non-mounted)
This program combines non-mounted horsemanship and puzzle activities to foster a strong partnership with the horse through kinesthetic and visual exercises.
The result is to build a relationship where you and your horse can achieve effective communication and connection, thereby establishing liberty.
